The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-energy environment and excel in coordinating multiple projects and will have hands-on experience with internet marketing including design, web analytics, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, online display, email marketing, affiliate programs, and social networking. We are looking for a strong marketing manager with hands on WEB experience. Some graphic design will be required, but this role is focused on marketing.
Responsibilities include:
From concept to design, to traffic, to conversion to ROI
Create and update new web pages on existing websites
Convert design concepts into proper HTML/CSS templates
Improving visibility of the Proviz websites through SEO/SEM strategies
Blogging, email campaigns, newsletter
Increasing conversion rates
Implementing, monitoring, reporting and analyzing our campaigns
The Web Manager will have a demonstrated understanding of graphic design and working knowledge of appropriate tools:
(e.g. HTML, PhotoShop, Adobe Acrobat, ASP, Illustrator, Quark Express and Silverlight or Flash..)
Requirements include:
• 5 + years web marketing experience
• Industry marketing experience:
o Business Intelligence vertical- prior marketing experience working for a BI consulting company or ISV
o Financial Services – asset management, risk management, hedge funds, fund of funds,
o Microsoft- familiarity with Microsoft’s BI offering, positioning, and go to market practices. (SQL and SharePoint)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Creative, out of the box
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong organizational, planning, and presentation skills
• Effective written communication
